Lachania village Lachania is one of the most gorgeous small villages on Rhodes. In the early 80-ties, almost all inhabitants left from here. Some years later, private investors and individuals came, to bring life in the sleeping village. They rebuilt and painted the old traditional houses. Some Tavernas, a small hotel and some rooms to let, where opened. But still the traditional way of life is widely practiced here and the very friendly people give a warm welcome to both, Greeks and tourists.
Down at the main road, every kilometers there are tracks running down to the beach. Most of these tracks lead to seaside tavernas which are known for their excellent seafood. Once more, the water is clean and the beaches sandy.
