The small farming village Gennadi, on the East coast of Rhodes island

The sandy beach from Gennadi is excellent. It offers a wide range of water sports and romantic beach tavernas. Gennadi itself, is a small village, set in beautiful countryside 1 kilometre inland. Once a humble fishing village, Gennadi is now a small pleasant resort, in beginning of the eighties started to be developed. Private, medium size hotels and studios have been built. When the sun goes down, the place comes alive, with bars catering for all tastes and ages.
