Apolakkia village in the south of Rhodes

Apolakkia is a quit village with some tavernas and bars and one hotel, dotted along the main street, which is the centre of attraction.

Near the village you'll find two legendary place. First the foundations of the Agia Irini church, built in the 6. century and second the Agios Georgios o Vardas church, which is situated at a picturesque lake. If you take Gennadi Road and turn left at the sign DAM, you'll find the lake.
